vector to bitmap?

I created a logo in illustrator and now the client wants it a bitmap file. Is there a way to do this? I did a search and found bitmap to vector, but not vector to bitmap.

Thanks

if you have photoshop just import it using the illustrator file and then export it as a bitmap

Thanks!

O.K., I just tried it. I went into Photoshop and imported the eps file. When I go to export, I get two options to export. Paths to illustrator and zoom view. Where is bitmap?

Does your client want in the bitmap format with the .bmp extension or is it general bitmap images? If it is .bmp, just go to, in Photoshop, Save As you choose the file extension. If it is general bitmap (.gif, .jpg) you can save those in Illustrator by going to Save For Web and then choosing the extension.

btw you can do bitmap straight out of illustrator (just installed it). just goto File > Export.
