How can I make the rendered images have a transparent background so i can use them in Photoshop with ease?

Transparent isnt available.... If I set it to white I doubt that makes it transparent, it would make it white;)

yeah..then you use the magic wand tool in PS and take that out...set your tolerance for the wand tool up and it should make it alot better...I don't use bryce so I can't give you specifics about

1. Make your render
2. Remake your render, just change material=Pure black & background= pure white. You can use this render along with the magic wand tool to make accurate selections in PS.
