Sick PC Background

I made a really nice background for my computer. Feel free to use it as your own personal background if you want.

nope, actually its done in 3dsmax. I made a tarus, then i threw a few modifiers on it, played with a material, then put a blur effect in the render, then when it rendered i imported it to photoshop, and then i played with the colordodge tool a little in the center of it where the ray of light is.... i think it looks pretty good. you don't think so ?

Nope, won't even let that image be placed in the same folder as my f*** ups., When you actually break it down, its really nothing - abunch of faded lines etc. I honestly don't like it...And i dont think theres anything you can do to it that will make it better...sorry.

I think otherwise. its not right to put someone down like that. I always enjoy the abstract look and im sure if you give it a bit more effect 3d wise it will look great. and id be a proud user of the background

And what are you trying to prove or state by this post?

hes just a jagoff. I am capable of much better designs, I was basically playing around with 3d studio max, learing different functions, and I happened to make that. I think its very artistic. Has a unique hint of ray of light to it. For some reason it cought my eye after i rendered it, as a very simple idea, that presents itself in a complex fashion.

And as far as the looser "RelMeK1"who made the comment of it shouldent even go with his ***kups work. Well if someone says they dont like it, they state why, they wouldent make a post like that unless they are jealous. That's the type of designer that wouldent get many clients based on his people skills.....

Its also scarey that he has a folder on his system where he keeps his screwups. He probally has more work in there than his client based portfolio.....

When you name the thread 'sick pc background.' many of us are expecting a good background.

it looks okay, i dont like the purple... its nothign i havent seen, but i guess its decent...

i dont really think it mattesr how the person makes it (as long it isnt stolen), as long as it looks good.... just my .02
