Problems with Illustrator and Acrobat

Has anyone else encountered the following problem or know of a solution? I am working on a PC with Windows 2000. When using Illustrator 9.0, I am not able to print through Acrobat Distiller (Acrobat version 4.0 or 5.0). I have uninstalled and reinstalled all Adobe products and updates. I am completely stumped as to what the problem is, and am pretty much shut down. I would greatly appreciate any help or suggestions.

I am running all the same stuff you are, and I have not had any problems at all printing to distiller (v 5.0) Try downloading any updates off of adobe's site for any of your programs, and checking their user forums, or help section. Either one should give you the answer you are looking at.

Thanks for the suggestion. It seems that I may have "accidentally fixed" the problem. I installed my personal copy of Illustrator 8.0 and then the 9.0 upgrade rather than installing my office's full version of 9.0. Everything is working fine now.
