O.K. enough of this... someone help plz
Let me try and explain this. Hopefully someone can help me. You know how when you have several layers and you can command click (ctrl) on the subject in your image and it should go to the correct layer. Well, mine, all I do is click on anything on the image and it goes right to that layer. No problem right.... well, not until you get little tiny text or something real small. Try and click on that and move it around. Here's the problem.... Before, once I was on that layer, I could click anywhere in that document and move the layer contents around. Now, if I don't have my curosr RIGHT on the content, it will go back to the background layer. I have to zoom in 1000 percent in order to make sure that I can click right on the image. Now that I confused everybody, if someone does understand me, can ya help?
Thanks

it sounds like your using the 'auto select layer option' which I have always found to be a pain.
Try turning that off and just selecting the layer to move using the layer palette.

Thanks for the help!

yeah, when you have the 'move tool' selected, up in the option bar there is the auto select option.
I never use it as I am always grabbing the worng layer. I find it much easier just to select the layer I need to move using the layer palette.
glad it helped
