Premium targeted advertising?
Out of interest, and since we are looking at doing a lot of premium advertising over the next fews. Where do you recommend purchasing targeted advertising?
Must accept credit card payments. we do not want anyone using paypal only.
already looked at and know all the info about google adwords so that one can be excluded

Hosting keywords (Shared hosting / reseller hosting / dedicated servers / web servers/ ensim / plesk / directadmin / hosting / etc)
I know what you mean with google... you either pay a lot to get a good position and get the click throughs you would want or you put your budget down and get no click throughs and a bad position... either way you kick yourself... well, theres always that chance

So you are just going for the mass market with those keywords?
It might be beneficial for you to be more specific in who you target. Do you want to attract small businesses, the gaming community, designers etc? The market is saturated and only those with a ****load to spend on advertising will find any great benefit in mass market stuff.
Just say you want to go with designers and artists: you can start with advertising on forums like this or sponsoring popular sites much like what webstar or even media temple seem to be doing.
It's up to you, but unless you can afford keywords that have decent conversion rates (which is difficult in hosting anyway) I would personally become more targeted. Google and Overture are great but "hosting" is what, $20 a click?
