scan lines tutorial

hey does anyone know of a tutorial to make scanlines in psp7? I have seen many of these tutorials for adobe photoshop but none for psp. Please reply ASAP!

make an image 4 x 4

do alternate lines of black

Open the image you want to have scan lines on

create a new layer on top (Raster)

Fill that layer with a texture of the 4x4 image you made

Change Layer Property to Overlay

Fiddle with Opacity until you get how you want it.

Or, easier, Go to Effect Browser and search for blinds.

I have a tutorial for it at http://www.avius.ws/ver11 (the site isn't complete yet, but that tutorial is on there) that tells you how to do it with the Effects > Blinds filter, but it isn't that hard to figure out w/o a tutorial once you know the filter to use.
