XP Pro Corporate.

I prefer it. People say it uses more ram, people say it's too helpful. I disagree. You can turn off those options if they really bug you. Ram? XP has the best memory management of any OS MS has ever released. 2K is better? 2K has such horrible hardware support I wouldn't touch it again, and I'm not merely reflecting on one isolated experience. Their driver support is iffy at best, while XP does manages and installs new devices like a dream.

Trust me, I'm not a big microsoft supporter, and I've been around the block more than a few times. I have old macs, lots of linux stuff lying around, but for my primary workstation nothing has yet beat XP Pro Corporate.

Now I'm waiting on a beta for Longhorn.

Windows Me, some people say its really bad to use as it doesn't offer home networking. There is software out there that runs with Windows Me and I have a home network going through it. Its a good operating system in my opinion. The way it has some stuff set up differently is entertaining for me as I get to understand different concepts.
