Transparent Images?
How can I make a perfectly transparent image so it will go with any color background?
I want to make some link images and want them to have shape to them and I want them to match any color site that there put on.

I always had an issue with transparent gifs... then png's came along which are great... the only downfall is that IE doesn't render them properly. If we could get M$ to update IE a bit that or get everyone to switch to a more compliant browser we could all use png's. 
(I hear Photoshop lets you make trans gifs/png's)

ok got sorta the same problem here, and i also need to know how i can get a button into...like dreamweaver but without any background...and it is round so i really have no idea could somebody help me with this?

umm make a new image, make it transparent, just cut or make the pic on it and then choose file> save as... and then select gif and press save, then there comes some window, just check "transparency" and add that gif to your site and it would work

well I duno if it's the same issue but just had a similar problem while finding an avatar..uno: when the image is not a rectangle and u don't want it to cover the background of the forum site.. if u know what I mean..plz give the proper instructions [best in ps]

well when i select transparency then the background turns white? does anyone els has this problem?
