Then why use Windows if you hate so much? Linux is like $30 for RedHot, about the same for the rest.

You ever wonder why the world is full of windows softwares?
answer: they have go marketing and they give what the people wants, simplicity something Linux is not that good with

Do like me, get the best of both worlds Windows and Linux on different computers in your den.

All the OSs have thier ups and downs, Windows gives ease of use and sacrificing security, while Linux sacrifised simplicity for security.

Locke that is why they came up with LINDOWS: to give the ease of use that Windows offers and the securiy that is Linux's fame

However, I'm not hearing much about it, seems as if it never made it big time as they had hoped --- such a shame.

who says i use windows? i don't have a g5 drive avy, a "made with mac/powered by donuts" sig cuz i use windows. i award you the "mr. observational skillz!" award.

Instead of comparing Linux and Windows what we should be doing is trying to figure out a way to get Linux to run on the 97% of all PCs in the world that are running Windows OS to be able to run them both at the same time.

I'm still in the brain storming process of the project. It can be done easily, but I want it to be state of the art! if you know what I mean.

Oh, yeah, They currently have something out like it, but its like $600+ for it and thats just crazy, which average joe woud pay for that?

sigh...man, you ain't even worth the effort...

Bah, windows is possibly the worst GUI os in history...

unstable, constant break-downs, incompatible (practically) with windows software, constant software conflicts, reformat and reinstall situations all the time, random missing system files, hardware conflicts, etc. etc. etc. (most were never released finished anyways)

regardless, Mac and Linux may not have the software, but that certainly doesnt make windows any better than a lump of crap
