Ok, #1 after hours of experimenting, I've found that I cant do **** with the pen.

#2, I'm not working directly with them. My uncle, who works at ebay is creating a presentation for them (from what I gathered), which needs a background of they're logo.

I have been messing around with it and if you resize to something like 500x200 then zoom in 1000x or 1600x depending on the detail you want you can smooth all the edges using just paint brush on (1) this is very time consuming though and will probably take several hours

Won't that make it alittle choppy? I kinda need it (to a certain extent, of course) perfect roundness

I tryed to remake that shape from scratch but I did not get it to good. well...I am not one of those magical guys who are totaly insane with PS but I did try atleast :-/

Neversidian, your staff is broken.

You could try tracing the shape with the pen tool then scaling the new vector shape you have, fill the shape and add the text. That's the best way I can think of, but I'll try it in a few minutes.

Well here's my attempt. I'm not so good with the pen tool and for some reason my shape came out with all these jagies and i don't feel like fixing them now, but here's the basic idea:

Here is a go at the shape. I made a circle, moved the selection down and deleted for the cut in, duplicated the layer, flipped, moved and then filled in the center.

if you are using IE6 you will notice the light gray background, that is a flaw in the way it shows the png file type. With mozilla it shows transparent which would be a without the light gray background.

now you have alot of shapes to go with "ReNxWar" so take one of them and freshen em up and do what you should do...lol

here is yet another one...i just traced the original with the pen tool and transformed selection to make it bigger. vectors can do this without losing quality.

took a whole 2 mins. i've got the psd with the path if ya need it.
