How can I spice it up?

I am in the middle of making this photography site right now. What do you think I can do to spice it up a little more?

The child's portfolio section in up and the Faq's page is up as well as the homepage but that is it for now.

I want to keep it clean simple and to the point.

lose the .:: ::. around home and maybe put the nav in bold.

i like a simple and clean look for a site like this and i think you've pulled it off.

as for the nav...like above it should be bolder so it stands out more. and it seems that the nav is situated to the left too much. unless that's a viewing problem for me. (see attached image).

i'd make the pictures that you have in the middle of the page clickable links instead of just the text under them. i instinctively put my mouse over the pictures expecting a link. but that's just me.

and under 'about me' it says 'work hostory

A shorter url maybe? Long urls are kinda annoying, I see if you're going to make a really long url with multiple words, use an acronym or abbreviate(I don't think I spelled that right) some of the longer words.

i had the same prob as a-pek, and i am running 16x12. also, i suggest putting a background or border around the drop down menus, as it is, they seem to crowd the content area. otherwise, nice work:o
