clouds

other then going filter-render-clouds, is there a way to make clouds? nice puffy ones?

Yeah, you can go to http://www.teamphotoshop.com and there's a tutorial called "Making Random Textures".

It's not exactly on clouds, but you can use those ideas and build them into your own and you just might come up with some clouds. Maybe u can use the techniques on the tutorial at TeamPS to make the clouds look fury-like.

you could go to render > clouds then go to image > adjust > brightness contrast and adjust the contrast so they are slightly puffier.

Striding Studio has a tutorial to create clouds. I'm not sure if they're puffy, like what you described. Hope that helps.
