Dude he is right. I think you should drop it and start fresh. He gave a good sugestion on copying someone else and not putting it online. It could give you good practice. If you need any help you can message me. Also, please try not to curse. It's frowned apon in these forums. Try to keep it a nice and clean place.

Looks a bit toyish. I wouldn't really go for the 3D text, it's definitely out of place. Lose the blury borders, they tire one's eye.

Tell people that you're making this as an enty for a contest. :P GL btw.

I personally sort of like it, but it would certainly be more enjoyable for the eyes if you would drop the blur and 3D text.

Time bomb thanks for the offer. I will never copy any one elses work. I want to develope my own style if I ever get good enough. I realize he gave a good suggestion but he put it in a way that really pissed me off.

Alexzander thanks man I am glad you at least liked the concept cause I think that is going to be my style (I realize it is way to blurry but I havnt figured out how to fix that yet) I will be doing another. The 3d text was a logo and still is a logo so its kinda supposed to stick out but not as much as it does. Thanks for the words of encouragement ne way.

To Make the Blur not so blurry do this

(FOR PHOTOSHOP)

Cntrl Click the layer you want to get rid of the blur, and do this to it.

Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen

some tips to consider:

- dont leave so much dead space between those 3 content boxes
- coordinate your blues and grey more, they dont match up that well
ive found that very very light greys give a nice look
(F7F7F7 for example)
- thoes big blue airbrushed lines dont give a sense of neatness and "graphic-ness" that i think you want to achieve ( lol i think this because of your site title) try making thin 1 px borders or something similar
-lastly, just uhh do what looks good, when youve made something decent, you will know it.

i agree with zhoog... copy a site that is the same style as you want... as long as you don't put it online and claim it as your own deisgn, its perfectly fine, and great practise... it would probably be in your best interest.

The whole site gives too much of a "giant" appearence. I think that smaller is better, and like some women say, "its not the size that matters, its how you use it" =) but anyway you could just practice with someone eleses site, or you could just read some tutorials and try piecing stuff together, changing certain things in them, and poof you can have a fantastic webiste before you know it.
