Hmmm. Try this...

You see the blue background behind where it says 'Road trip'? Select that and go to Select > Modify Contract. Then fill that with something like what Robouk has done, but make the white spread further.

Yes Hell spawn something like that but with a little more sheen but i would work with that Could you give tell me the steps taken?

I think if the glow was more sharper, had more of an outline, vector like, it would look much better!

I think it would be easier if you downloaded it and just changed some of the layer effects and blending modes to get what you want. And I'm on my way to school so I don't really have the time
