You aren't going to go far by asking people if they are interested without having a server. I bought my server, created the site, and took the risk of paying the business costs to start viveHosting. I'll see in several months if my money was put to good use although I think it was.

Samer here, I hav'nt put alot into mine but I have put in enough to start running it, I have been open for a little over a month and i have 3 clients. This is very disappointing. unlikte people whocan offer you unlimited space and such and LOW prices for alot of stuff, I can't you problley can't either. Go look at WHT, so many people are wanting to start up hosting company's most will fail since they think it will make a quick buck. I got into the web hosting biz since I knoew how to use the scripts and I am good with doing all my own stufff (Programming, web0desgin, support, etc...)

For games servers, you will need to try at a GAMING site, not a site that's it's main purpose is just to help others. Try WHT, search google. You will find clients sooner or later.

Like most new hosts, they don't have there own data center, but I acully plan on doing web-hosting as a proffesional job and that's why many sites are growing fater than others, and not to mention you just started this co?

3 clients in a month? You need to pick up on advertising . I got 2 and I went public like a few days ago.

I thought WHT but they are expensive as hell!

I don't mean advertise in that way although I do plan on paying for some banner linkage ... I mean being active in several forums such as this and WHT... I know it's not very appealing nor fun to act like the scavenger hosts in WHT who respond to every thread, but that's how you get customers .

i wont even go near WHt anymore.... there are way to many people selling hosting at a rate or everything for nothing! its impossible to compete with what WHT has.

lol I know what you mean... there are some outrageous pricing out there. I found one with like 5-10 gig space and 100 gb transfer for $40.

DONT ADVERTISE ON WEBHOSTING SITES! (so stay clear of WHT)

look for design and webmaster sites where you could purchase advertising

That isn't true, I'm advertising in pingzine this Winter, nothing wrong with advertising on WHT, long as you pay for it. Putting it in the offers/requests area is a bad idea because it's a battle of the $0.99 hosts.
