Distortion Design just started this, layout now is mostly basic html with a couple of images...me n a couple buddies workin on it: www.distortiondesign.com comments - - the white text on the table header background is very hard to read. - the i-frame doesn't suit the site well. - maybe add a border around the site, something looks wrong. that may be it - i'm say lose the shadow color on the scrool bar in the i-frame. - the first viewing of the date and time ( Aug 25 2003, 12:10 AM) is way to large for the rest of the site. either lose it, or change the size. i think you shouldn't place it there anyway. - i don't like the header. it looks like its from that movie "photoshop filters gone bad" i'm not saying you used filters, i'm just saying it looks like it. i say redo the header with a less headachey look. other than that, seems pretty ok. looks like it can be good, just gotta find how to make it good. good luck with everything : ) ___________________ you're only as good as you think i think you are Ama1zinStatus: Offline!
thanks thanks for the comments- we will definately consider your ideas personally, i dont like the little menu header backgrounds that match the banner. I think they would look much better as a solid dark blue or something. so hopefully we will change that Overuse of stuff man. A plus sign implies expansion. I know its used commonly for respect and what not on some personal sites, but try to use it sparingly. The dotted borders are running loose, dont use em anywhere near that much. You also have stuff like :: a few times. I think the moral of the story here is use symbols where needed, not throw em in anywhere and everywhere. |
