Webdev site
Well, my site's been up for like a month, but finally i've decided to make it more known... registered the domain http://www.ynhockey.net (and the TK equivalent 'cause it's free :P) but i'm experiencing trouble with the 1st, and the TK one should work in a couple days... or a week.
Anyway, right now you can see the site at http://yn.webkore.net - it has a huge HTML guide (like a book), that's mostly finished, except 2 final chapters that i should be able to finish before school starts.
I've also got my personal section and pages on other internet languages that don't have much to offer (i'll start writing more once i finish with the HTML).
There's also a forum.
Please note that the design wasn't really important to me, and still isn't. So, please don't say the site sucks just because the design isn't that great. At least it's simple. I've still got to code more PHP (features), but mostly my CMS is done, the registration, etc. work ok.
Enjoy!
EDIT:
Don't be scared if the colour scheme changes when you click a different link... i still haven't made a feature to select just one, so now it randomy cycles between 3 colour schemes.
Also wanted to say that the site is absolutely 100% free. You will not likely see an ad on it anytime (even if it ever gets big), no commercial stuff, etc.

it looks ok for a start but maybe it might look a bit better if there were some pictures on your site. also you might want to make the area that you have your content in a different colour from your background or something and also i think it would look nicer if it was centered in the middle of the page instead of going up against the left hand side of the page.

Thx
I'll consider the centering suggestion...but as i said, the design wasn't that important anyway. What did you think of the content ?

It will be a great content filled site once it's totally done!
The red text on the black page is a bit high contrast, especially if you were sitting in the dark, late at night. You might want to consider that - I leave pages after a while if my eyes just can't take them.
I know you say the design is not an issue with you, and you are not concerned about it but after you finish the guides I would rethink that. Your site will definitely attract people because of its content but the design is a big feature too and that should compliment all the hard work that went into writing the guides and not be entirely overlooked. A truly great website takes everything into account.
It's a great site, once your guides are done I do think the design needs work to make it even greater. Good luck with everything.

Thanks
About the orange on blank design... i don't know, people who have seen this site never complained, but you've got a point. I guess i'll recode all my pages and make a feature to choose one scheme once you're registered... gonna get on it now. It will also encourage people to register.

@Metrox
Ok i changed the thing to center alignment... doesn't look better IMHO... what does everything think ? If you're all for it, i will keep it
@emlrockey
Ok it's done - you can now register and choose a theme of your preference (out of 3)

Er... down ?
You did enter http://yn.webkore.net , right ? 'cause as i said, the other provided URLs don't work (yet). I just posted them to avoid comments like 'get a friggin domain', etc.
Anyway, this server i'm on right now has never been down the last 7 months... i'd be surprised if it was down

Oops -- Yeah, that's probably what I did.
The site seems to have a good structure to it. And the random CSS stylesheet thing is cool. I'd suggest using a slightly bigger font though...
Nice job.
Also, thanks for adding me in the "special thanks".

Larger font ? ... any suggestions ? 'cause the space there is pretty tight... but i'll try to make it as big as possible but still less than 600px in width... damn, gotta switch to 800x600 just to test this
