Cheap dedicated server
Heya guys...
I'm looking for a cheap dedicated server....
The cheapest I found yet is 49.99$ with server4you, here are the specs:
-AMD Duron 1300, 128K Cache
-512MB DDR-RAM
-60GB / 7200 RPM
-700 Gb Bandwidth
-100 Mbps
Setup fees are 149$
If anyone saw somethign better please tell me!
Maybe I would also be looking for someone to share this dedicated server with me...
Cheers.

Keep away from AMD athlons and Durons for servers as they run too hot. from celerons always try to have a server which is P3 or greater. (cheaper isnt always better)
For that price i also expect very little tech support and the servers to be unmanaged so make sure you know how to run and manage a Linux server (they are alot more work than they first seem)
To get the price you wanted you will have to pay yearly and then there are extra charges
.

That isn't a problem as long as the place they are kept in is kept at a good temperature, I have a few myself.
Check out ServerPronto.com there is still the big setup fee, but it is a true $30 a month.
