EPS File Questions
Can somebody tell me what I have to do to so I can open an EPS file on a Mac and vice versa?
Also, if I create an image in Illustrator as an EPS in RGB mode is it suitable for print (i.e. business cards, letterheads, etc.) or does it need to be converted to CMYK? If there is more to this can you please tell me what to do?

RGB is primarily for web/screen use. To print your business cards you should use cmyk, but that is 4 color process and costly. Your best bet is to use spot colors.
Do your art, and select from the Windows menu, Swatch Libraries, which opens up the Library choices. Generally I choose Pantone Uncoated. In this Library choose the color(s) you want and apply them to your art. In the Color Pallet, double click on the desired color and a dialog box appears. Second item from the top is Color Type, choose Spot Color.
That's it.
