aligning a table to the top inside another table?

(using dreamweaver MX) how can i align a table to always be displayed at the top in another table... example in the image and here:

when I want to make a table appear at the top of the table it is in... i have got to put a lot of <br>s below it to get it to be displayed higher... but at pixel colos (www.thecolos.de) the tables next to the news table are all displayed at the top without being forced up with <br>s

well i would like to see your code to perfectly understand this, but the answer's the same.

somewhere there's a cell (a <TD>) that contains that little box on the right. i think you might have a nested table within it, but yeah not sure without seeing your code.

anyhoot, find that td, and add this to it:

Code:

<td [b]valign=top[/b]>

and that will make it stay put.

but i don't quite know how to make tables other than this way:
create 1 table and then in that create two tables next to eachother etc... i don't know how to make cells etc...

any tutorials on this somehwere?
