Not bad! I like the way the right side turned out. Whatever you did to the guy's mouth, it looks good!

Bad:
What happened to the left side? Fill it up!

The trick of dark arts, is to use light colours, yet make it look dark, very few that can do it, i'm not very good at it myself, but one guy I know, komacyde at deviantart, he's the master of it IMO. But anyways, it's too dark to really see what's going on, and just generally looks to empty, though, if it was lighter, you could see a lot more of the detail which i'm sure is on the face. Could turn out pretty good though. Keep it up.

I agree that the left side needs more balance.. kinda reminds me of Silent Hill
