converting .swf to .fla... possible?

is it possible to convert a .swf file into a .fla file?

Its possible to import it, but you will loose all the scripting and tweens. I dont know if there is any third party programs that would do this.

Liatro SWF Decoder is probably the closes thing you'll get to what you describe. What it does is lets you extract all resources form the swf file.. such as action script, buttons, shapes, images, sprites, texts, fonts and sounds. Resources are extracted as .jpg, .mp3 and/or .swf...

ASV is an app that shows layers.
You can then use exported symbols from Sothink SWF Decompiler to reconstruct the fla. It can be done, just tough work.
Just don't use this to rip others off.
