HELP in LINUX!

how do you switch to graphical mode in mandrake linux...when ever i try to log in, it alwayz does not graphics, only the localhost login: in like a dos promt type thing....anyone no how to switch?

You might have pressed Ctrl+Alt+Backspace, which exits out of X-Windows. Unless, when you start up it goes into a command prompt type thing and never gets out. Your problem might be that you didn't install X-Windows in the first place :X

then how do u uninstall linux...lol!

i found out..nvm mind guyz..i for got to install x-windows...thanx!

as a note to anybody:

if you ever get stuck in the comand prompt, just type

startx

and that will bring up the GUI
