That site is run by Scott Porter I believe, really impressive client/server-side developer... I'd suggest you check out GameLib, it's Scott's JavaScript game API, extemely well done.

Yep, right on the site I suggested. You use Scott Porter's GameLib JavaScript API, it's awesome... Here's one of his tutorials:
