Try this, opening a website and taking a screenshot. You'll understand it from there. The actually website size is 1024 x 768. Smile

back on to topic, i think that there should be a tutorial somewhere out there on the net that shows a step by step, start to finish, tutorial on how to make a website. and an actual up and running website is what it's based on, so that people can see the final product.

if i knew how to do it, i would most likely do it

I've been meaning to do some tutorials recently, but I never got around to them - I might work on one Smile

Well I really oughta have my butt wooped for designing my site at 1024 res and not 800X600 because even though i'm on 800X600 I designed it for higher resolutions and its kind of a pain in the *** and a nucense to side scroll... But that will be fixed on the new design....

And you could strecth the Header on the Angles revenge theme because it has no place where it can repeat seamlesly.. But for instance on the Story blocks and the side blocks they can repeat vertical because the gradient in the same all the way down. So what i did was just make a real thin slice and then put it as a cell bg and set the cells height to 100%. That way the more content that is added, the thin slice keeps repeating and Not Stretching.. But you can't tell it repeates because the gradients are seamless...That would apply for horizontal stuff as well.
