Photoshop Layout - use DW MX style?
For the new version of photoshop that comes out (im assuming a new version will be coming out!) what do people think about it adopting Dreamweaver MX's style for its layout? Have the option to use floating tool bars but also the option to have them stay in a set place.
I think it would be a good move myself, giving another useful option to suit the many users out there.

Suppose it would be good as an option but wouldnt really make much difference to me.
Adobe Photoshop 8 will be coming out though. Click the Search button if you wanna read up on what new stuff there'll be. Theres been plenty of posts and links on this already.

you do realize that photoshop does use both floating toolbars, and toolbars that stay in one place..
and rather, you can make your toolbars stay in one place, just by not moving them?

i dont liks macromedias style at all. not flash mx, fireworks mx, freehand. it's all to complicated. and adobes style is just simple easy to see everyhthing. that's why i think you could find more ps tuts than fireworks tuts. easier.. even though i think fireworks has more options.

I use a prog called Adobe Photoshop Interface Improver which Hides your toolbars until you need them...You just hover over where they would be and they pop up for you...once you hover away from them, They hide again... Takes a little getting used to but it is alot easier to work in PS this way IMO...More space...
But as Euphoria said, PS has floating Toolbars..
