How much money do you have?
If you need an affordable webcam but dont need the quality alot Logitech QuickCam Express is good. Also Argus webcams are good.

I also have a Intel(r) PC Camera CS630 it is a hight res and high quality webcam. But it is in the $60 range.

The current Smart Computing magazine has a big article on it so check that out also.

-- Old thread, but I figured it'd be better than starting a new one.

I, too, am looking for a webcam - more along the lines of the digi/web cam combo, for under 70$. Anyone have any personal experience with anything of the likes, and if possible can you attach an example snapshot? I need one for class in the future so I'd like to get something half-decent. thx..

I have the Logitech ClickSmart 420, I think I payed right around $70 for it. It is a digi/webcam combo. Here's 2 pics I've taken with it
