Just got a dedicated server

Hey yall!

I just got a dedicated server and have lots of space/bandwith to share. I would like to host a few domains (not a ton) just to help cover the cost of it.

I'd be up for offers as far as specs are concerned. I'm not opening up a hosting company (althogh I do plan to, the clients will be on a different server). I'd be willing to host any people with REASONABLE offers. ($10 a month or something).

Actually no he doesn't. He's not a web host, he just needs some people to help him share the costs, and I allowed this specifically because I trust him.

umm seems to me that he is just looking for people to help pay his server bill and he isnt setting a definate price.

what kind of server is it (specs), whers it located (which provider)and what control panel does it have?

Well I'm sorry you see it's an advert, he's really only a programmer, not a web host, he just needs people to help pay the cost, sorry you find it as an 'advert'.

Its a 1.3 512 megs RAM 60 gig harddrive, 700 megs transfer (it's a rackshack.net server, check out the packages if you want, I got the $99\m Plesk)

This is not advertising. I'm only opening this up to a few people. The only other people I will be hosting are a: web applications that I develop and development clients. We are not a hosting company, so Locke said I could post here.

Plus: I know the rules, I was the first mod in the programming forums when this site launched, so I know the rules.

Heh, definately no problem, and i dont care that its an advert , i think the new rules just open things up for more spam, but yah adverts are not a problem, was just trying to help with the new rules.
