Ha Ha, quarter mile times I'm talking to this guy, and he says civics are faster than the older muscle cars. Were talking stock, no twin turbos or anything. He says that a civic could 'get through the gears faster' and run a 10 second quarter mile. The funny thing is that he said I was the stupid one for correcting him. Ha! ___________________

I've seen a stock Camero do low 11s. Civics may get thru the gears faster but that doesn't mean that its speed is greater. People that talk about cars when they don't have any clue piss me off. Any body have the quarter mile times for their cars? Mine runs high 12 - low 13. Stock 1987 Porsche 924s. A stocker you're looking at least a 16-18 quarter mile. It would take a ton of work and even more cash to get a Civic into the 10s. But why would you even want to...it's a Civic |
