eyecandy-project layout C&C please

bonjour,

I'm working on this layout, and I'd like some C&C on it! There's only this page for the moment (links don't work), but I'm looking for some input on the layout itself! Picture contents will be in the place of the "splash" picture, and text on it's right.

It's interesting, something a little different for sure, and I like that. The drop downs don't really go very well, and some "cooler" colors might be a little bit easier on the eyes. Well, actually, to be honest, most websites can't pull those colors off, but I think yours does it fine

One problem is, are all your creations going to fit into that space? That might pose a problem in the future. if everything has to fit in there.

Overall, I really like!

The plash looks as thou it just filtered. (sorry, if that werern't the case) anyway some sort of airbrush manipulation of like a closeup of a face would look much better. Just a suggestion

the lettering is too oversized at the bottom... and the banner looks odd. think about it, straight fire going in different directions.

Saoi> well they don't all have the exact dimensions, but I've a few tries and I don't think it's a problem, depending on how You place them in it. As for the drop downs do you mean I should put a different color/font in them, or not use them? I think the whole originality of the thing is actually the "xcessif" use of drop downs...

as for the splash, it isn't definitive, I'm not quite sure wether I'm keeping that one, modifying it, or just putting something else in!
