Business Card template / size ?

A beginners question, but still:

I want to make a business card in illustrator, and use it both for print and web.

*What size should it be? The card itself is 85*54 mm.

-Should i make the design in the same size?

Cheers in advance for any help.

PS! I've searched all over for both tutorials and templates, and have come up empty. Any advice on good sites for Illustrator tutorials would also be appreciated.
