Lightwave?

Hi, I don't know what lightwave is or does. However, I am interested and I wondered if anyone knew of a good tutorial or had some information about what it is and can do. Thanks,

Lightwave is a 3D modeler like Discreet 3D Studio Max, Alias Wavefront Maya, Corel Bryce 3D, etc. It was used in the move - Titanic.

Not really.. Maybe its the other way around about 3d max.. Not Lightwave unless your totally newbie to all the 3D Graphics area.

I have Lightwave 7.0 and 3D Studio Max 4.2 and Max is easier in my opinion.

hey Fatty_McGavins i think you should order the Discovery Edition of Lightwave and see what it's all about, and see if it works for u. Then u can decide what to use. The Discovery Edition may take awhile to be shipped, so for now u can go to www.newtek.com website and download it from there, as it will work as a demo if u dont have a hardware dongle.Get 3d Studio Max aswell if u havent tried it yet, i think they have a demo for it at www.discreet.com, if there isnt a demo just get Gmax instead, its just like a mini 3Dsm. Get them all and try and see which is best for u. I use Lightwave, but i started off with Max. So i know what they both like. Max is easier in some cases, and lightwave is more easier in some, but there will always be a solution.

anytime u need help just ask, i know a little about Max ad C4D and enought about Lightwave. You could even check out Wings3D, its a good free 3D Modeling app, i use it at times.
