Hello, I'm trying to learn Freehand by myself, and i have a doubt!

Hello, I'm trying to learn Freehand by myself, and i have a doubt! How to use "knife tool" and "Crop tool"! I've tried to go to freehand "help" but i still can't understand it. Please answer me as soon as you can! Thanks!

ok for the knife tool:

well like this..some simple rule to using knife tool..

1.always make sure that the object that u want to cut is ungrouped!! (this is very important..i got alot of friends keep asking me why cant they cut their objects..turns out cause they didnt ungroup them..but if u are using freehand 10 objects by default comes ungroup..just remember to ungroup them before u cut if u are using 9 and below)

double clicking on the knife tool will bring up a palette window that let u chose the options.. have fun exploring them.

as for the crop tool..... it operates likes uhm a cookie cutter.
u can select alot of objects at once and crop them up. but always remember the objects that u desire to crop must always as a ground rule...ungroup!!!!!
