Cinema 4d Gradients

Ok.. I've seen the tutorial on spoono and it shows the final image of the blob with a gradient for cinema 4d. How can i make gradients, I can't find it anywhere in the program which i am relativaly new to so i can make gradients and apply them to my images. Help would be greatly appreciated
