The way host ultra does it is that when you edit or add to the site, and are in the web browser file manager, they lay on like 6 pop up ads @ once. So that way, the average web surfer does not get any ads, but the webmaster does while editing. Whichbisn;t a problem if you utilize FTP.

I'll make a little contribution here rather quickly...
Never choose a host that offers paid hosting as well as free hosting.
For example, HostUltra.
Paid Hosting Providers are much smarter than your average free host starter, and they know how to make you pay with banner ads at just the right places

wow there are tons. There are the few that tell you what they offer straight forward and some with not alot of detail and slip things in the terms. Im new to this i just used geocities and slip things on and off to show people. But i want a better host for my improving work 
. It would be nice to know why you are using the Free host (if you are) or if you did why you stuck with them till you bought a site. Pros/cons type of thing

a really well unknown 1 that irelyed on 4 soo long unti li bought mine www.neocities.us, its down at the mo but has 20mgs space 500mb bandwidth (a bit crap but hey) and all the works eg: no ads ,php, perl, mysql gr8 check it out
