How do i cut...

A image for a web site, i have to cut the image so it will fit a round it, and do it well that is y i posting here i know how to cut but i would make a **** up could any 1 help me??

zoom in and use lasso tool...
If u **** up just edit it so its back 2 normal after u inverse and delete the selection

damn dude...I'm not sure I get what your trying to do...sounds like you need to learn slicing in photoshop and imageready and putting the slices in a html table...but ....not sure if thats what your asking...

...if so...simple tutorial search for the above mentioned at google.com would solve your problems.

try using the pen tool, it gives much more control. When you're done completely wrapping the image, right click and choose "make selection"

show us the image.. and a little more explanation on what you mean. maybe use the magic wand tool for selection? or using the lasso tool very carefully.. use quick mask.. that helps a lot for selecting.

but he says cut the image so that it fits around it..??? i don't understand how that would apply with image slicing..

Sorry if you did not understand me in the frist post i was in a rush to post it.
I am not going to try the lasso tool i would just make a mess of it. I think genesis_within Idea will work i wil try it out and after i post this.
