I re-made a Matrix sound track in 100% software!

:: I remade one of the Matrix sound track completely in software a while ago and just found the file.

Each track including bass, drums, specal effect, sub bass were re-written from scratch and my own melody synth notes as lead instument. And no, I don't know how to read or write, I just pick the notes out until I am happy.

Sounds pretty good. I couldn't recognise it so far as Matrix, but perhaps just because I haven't seen it in a really long time.

One thing I would say is, I wasn't fond of your drum sounds... particularly the snare. The lead was pretty cool though. The ending was really abrupt.

Anyhow - cool... what software did you use?

:: AbsoluteCross, thanks. The drum samples aren't as good as I would like em but it's all a matter of tweaking the samples better.

As for the software, I used FruityLopps. Then in year 2000 if was FruityLoops 2.7. Pretty solid software even for back then. The current version is FruityLoops 3.55. I also did some editing using SoundForge.

Sorry for the ending, it's only a 35sec. sample of the original.

As for the scene where the track played, it was the scene where Neo and Morpheus first started crossing the street and Neo got distracted by the lady in the red dress.

can you give me a sheet of the theme song, or at least tell me the main keys? I'm gonna make my own remix

I'm pretty sure that's Rob D - Clubbed to Death (Kurayamino mix).
The one they used for the theme was Propellerheads - Spybreak.
