a weave effect?

On the site: www.fierce-creations.com their logo has a weave type formation in the background. I can't find any filters that have to do with weave and I was wondering if anyone knew how to do this effect. Thanks

ya can use yer rectangular marqee tool and delete 'em, but that would be tedious:D

Create a rectangled selection, fill it with a pattern or colour, then go to Filters-->>-->>Distort-->>Wave, play with settings. make sure under (TYPE) you have Square checked...... . Place this effect on top of a background image of your choice, make a rectangle selection across half of your new effect, then go to image-->>adjustments-->>hue/saturation, in the diologe box check colorize, then just find the colour u want. do the same for the other also and your done.....................
