is this good start?

hi, im making a banner for my webpage, i dont know if i should continue, or if i should stop and do a new image. tell me if you think this image looks good for a header, and give me improvements and complaints. thanks :]

Try to calm down the blue also

It seems to me that the tentacles are too shiny. I dunno, they just don't blend very well with all the other colors and stuff goin' on. Try getting the tentacles workin' with the rest of the graphic, and you'll have a very nice banner on your hands.

yea not too bad, but I would agree with Largo the tentacles do nothing for the image, yet if they are removed the image would become some what bear, you'll need to add something else in their place, perhaps a little blended circuit board or the like. perhaps the images could also be a little sharper.

Again only my opinion.
