Embedded Quicktimes

i've just started a project in MX, and was wondering if anyone has had any luck embedding Quicktime movies into their Flash movies.

i have a client who supplied 80MB movies and wants to create a CD-ROM. i had he export the movies with the Sorenson 3 codec, but the sound won't import, so i have to import and AIFF file also.

i'm not having any luck though. The video looks like crap in the published Flash file and the sound does not sync up.

i've never used that utility with flash before, i wish i could help:o

You cant really play the movie in it without exporting the movie in quicktime format. if it was in flash format, it simply will not play, unlress you find a MOV to AVI convertor, then you might be able to play the movie in flash. sorry i think this is the only way. ::chinese:

yeah i tried importing quicktime movies into flash once and the sound didnt work either. i think the only way you can import sound with the movie is if it is an mpeg or something. ::classic:

yeah i haven't tryed importing quicktime movies into flash but i've done it with mpeg and it works fine:)
