Etching effect

i was just wondering if anyone knows of a filter or plug-in that makes a photo into an etching/woodcut effect? The effect i want to get is like old portraits like the presidents on money.

no, i'm talking about the line screen effect like used on money. Look at a dollar bill and its just shaded with lines. i want that woodcut effect.

make a selection of the outline of the pic, then fill it with a scanline pattern (u can find loads of scanline tuts on the internet)
