settle down, geez.. arent opinions allowed to be voiced?.. anyways i like 2advanced a lot .. and just becaus DA is popular doesnt mean they got a good site design. Hell look @ Google they are SUPER POPULAR and they have **** for site design lol.

thats not my point... im saying its professional, they wouldnt get as many hits as they do if it wasnt... and google is a whole different thing, its a search engine, you dont want it to be really complex and professional, its a search engine, thats all, all you need is the search bar, and the results, theres no point ot add more to make it look really neat and professional... DA has the most work put into their site than any other, most people dont understand that, DA goes deeper than just the layout and the content, very deeper. adn thats what makes a site professional...

I just want to see some professional designs. And no, DA is not professional alright. Its not. You dont need a professional looking site to get hits, you need content, a good design (not just professional), and things people like. DA is is more abstracty, and artistic. Once again, not professional. And maybe it has professional content, and maybe lots of people couldnt make a site like that. BUT THATS NOT THE POINT. All i want is some professional designs, regardless to how many hits they get or how unique they are. Maybe try thinking.

different peoples have different definitions on "PROFESSIONAL"
some peoples think PRACTICAl is professional, and some people think ARTISTIC is professional
DA could be professional, Yahoo could be professional, 2 advanced could be professional
it's all depend on your personal preferences

also, deviantart is not the only site of its kind, and i'm sure there are plenty of sites that had a lot more work put into them, no offence intended to da.

Im a kid with no life, yet I probably have bigger social life then you, and i still find time to come to TF and post, and make graphics. If you can tell when people spend their entire day on the computer, i think you need some fresh air.

What i stated was accurate. There was nothing whatsoever that was dumb in that paragraph. Just because you are in love with a site, does not mean it is the king of profession. Believe me.. lots of the huge sites arent even very professional looking. And there is nothing wrong with that.

And if you think i dont know what a professional looking site is, then you must be at least half retarted. Most of the sites these people named were very professional looking. I do think pixelbrick, and hostrocket and other are some of the more professional looking sites out there. Now i know people think differently and have their own prefrence on what professional is. But what i want to see are sites that attract people with a simple look. Keeping it clean, professional, and organized. An example of what I am thinking of for a professional site is Spoono. Very nice clean layout, although a little artsy and just a little more for eye candy. Although thanks to their organized set up, it keeps the professionalism. Anyways.. just think about what you say before you say it. And dont accuse me of anything until you have some facts.

nice sites in here - most are! um, i havent bothered to read all these long stories about professionalism and devart. In my opinion i believe that a professional graphics site is one from these sites such as the ones www.ozone....com. a quality site is one with nice fast loading gfx and good content!

bobsac... sure, DA may be professional behind the scenes or what have you. BUT I personally hate their look. It doesnt look professional at all. The color is bad, orginization is bad, its overcrowded on each page, etc. So, In terms of technically propessional, yes DA is that. But we are talking about asthetics here, which DA has a serious lack of.
